An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a fast paced, reactive framework for a large local authority. The Quantity Surveyor will be joining an experienced team, running with their own projects and given a platform that includes a realistic path for rapid career progression.
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for their own lot of works across Lincolnshire. This could include reactive repairs following a road traffic accident, repairs on pot holes, new signage, lighting and communication systems, grass cutting, resurfacing, maintenance of hedges, drainage and a number of small projects with values of up to £1m. As the Quantity Surveyor, some of your key duties will include:
- Managing subcontractor accounts
- Measuring subcontractor works
- Overseeing the settlement of final accounts with sub-contractors and the client
- Monthly cost reporting
- Offering contractual advice to colleagues

Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have previous experience using the NEC suite of contracts, good communication skills and a clean driving licence.
