Quantity Surveyor

£45,000 to £65,000 + car & package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a £25m asset refurbishment project for Thames Water in Greenwich.
The Quantity Surveyor will be undertaking a key role on the project and overseeing a small site based team. Some of your key duties will include:
- Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
- Contract administration
- Cost reporting
- Preparing CVR's
- Manage the change management process
- Oversee the monthly valuations
A major part of your role will also include supporting the commercial leadership team in establishing and implementing new commercial processes, both for this project and future work.
Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity must have at least 5 years experience as a main contractors QS and previous experience working on utilities, infrastructure or civil engineering projects. You'll also need a strong understanding of the NEC suite of contracts and excellent communication skills.
