An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor at their offices in Birmingham. The role promises exposure to a variety of different construction projects across the education, healthcare, commercial and mixed use sectors alongside a platform for rapid career progression with ongoing training and development and no glass ceilings to where you can go within the business.
The Quantity Surveyor will be joining an experienced team and focused on ensuring the sound commercial delivery of the project. You'll need to support the project team with your commercial and contractual expertise, assessing, reviewing and mitigating commercial risks. You'll also be preparing and presenting monthly cost reports, measuring work undertaken by the subcontractors, agreeing final accounts and certifying payments.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be offered a market leading package that includes:
