An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering large infrastructure projects across the Central Belt of Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity that promises exposure to a wide range of different projects for an award winning employer with a solid pipeline of projects across the region.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be joining an experienced team focused on delivering technically challenging yet rewarding civil engineering and infrastructure projects with values of up to £100m. As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be involved with both pre & post contract duties including:
- Monitoring project cash flow
- Manage the procurement of subcontractors
- Ensuring all contract variations are identified
- Ensure compliance with all company commercial procedures
- Attend & host project progress meetings
- Work closely with the client & consultants
- Assist with the training & mentoring of junior surveyors
Quantity Surveyors considering this position will need to have previous experience working for a main contractor with exposure to large civil engineering and infrastructure projects. You'll need excellent communication skills, good commercial awareness and be a team player.
