Quantity Surveyor
South London
£300 to £350 per day (Outside IR35)
A long term contract opportunity has arisen with a leading main contractor at their offices in South London. The Quantity Surveyor will be required for 3-6 months and working closely with a project team delivering 2-3 projects simultaneously. The projects will be for both private & public sector clients with build values of £2m to £8m.
The Quantity Surveyor will be splitting their time between the offices in South London and various sites across Central & Greater London. You'll be working closely with the Project and Commercial Directors alongside the rest of the commercial team and the client. You'll be involved with the project from start to finish, taking responsibility for:
- Preparing contract documents
- Managing the tender process
- Sub contract management
- Providing accurate monthly cost forecasts
- Monitoring cash flow
- Cost reporting
- Attending site progress meetings
This is a contract opportunity with a day rate on offer of £300 to £350. You'll need previous experience working for a main contractor and you must live within a reasonable commute of South London.
