A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a busy and growing multidiscipline construction & property consultancy at their smart offices in the centre of Manchester.
The Quantity Surveyor will be joining an established business that has a solid track record for delivering large, complex projects across a wide array of sectors including Residential, Student Accommodation, Healthcare, Leisure, Commercial, Research & Development, Arts, Culture and Heritage. As an important part of their Commercial Team covering projects within the North West, the Quantity Surveyor will be involved with a number of projects, often working closely with a Senior QS and other Surveyors in the office. Some of your key duties will include:
- Evaluating costs and advise on alternate proposals
- Provide advice on contract arrangements, terms and conditions
- Advise the project architects and engineers on building cost implications
- Preparing tender documents
- Manage the project costs from construction stage through to final accounts

Quantity Surveyors considering this position will need to have previous experience working for a cost consultancy and live within a reasonable commute of Manchester City Centre. Quantity Surveyors within experience of high value and complex projects will be at an advantage.
