I have an opportunity with a leading specialist consultancy in London who provide clients with professional services covering expert witness, tribunal services & construction consulting advice to iconic, complex and high profile construction & infrastructure projects across the globe. They have an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join their business in London and in return, they'll provide you with a fantastic platform to pursue a career in construction claims & dispute management.

The Role
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be joining an experienced team of surveyors and consultants working on projects across the construction & civil engineering sectors with clients including top tier main contractors and consultants. As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for:

  • Undertaking forensic analysis
  • Supporting colleagues (experts in Quantum) on international arbitration & litigation
  • Providing post contract advice & guidance to clients and in some cases stakeholders
  • Preparing and analysing final accounts

The Person
The Quantity Surveyor will be given an opportunity to further a career in the exciting & complex world of construction claims & dispute management and given support for further education in relevant fields (e.g. MSc Construction Law). Quantity Surveyors considering this exciting opportunity must have:

  • A BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or another relevant topic
  • Either chartered with the RICS or working through their APC
  • Strong industry experience (at least 5 years) in either building, civil engineering, power, energy or building services
  • An interest in construction law & post contract commercial management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK
