A great opportunity has arisen for a Regional Planning Manager to join a leading name in the construction industry, an award winning main contractor. The Regional Planning Manager will lead the planning function across the north of the UK, a key role reporting directly into the Construction Board.
The Regional Planning Manager will be responsible for leading the planning team and provide planning and programming support to projects at both tender and contract stages across their Construction and Civil Engineering Divisions.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a major player in the construction industry and to help develop and grow a large team. They are looking for an inspiring leader, an experienced Planning Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a regional role. The Regional Planning Manager will have a solid main contracting background, a wealth of experience gained on projects at tender and contract stages on projects within both construction and civil engineering sectors.
The Regional Planning Manager can be based out of offices in either Greater Manchester or the West Midlands. Interviews will be conducted via Skype or Microsoft Teams due to current climate and will be conducted over the following 1-2 weeks.
Candidate
- Construction related qualification - HNC / HND/ Degree
- 10 years plus planning experience
- 5 years management experience in a regional role
- Tender and Contract planning experience
- Experience of both construction and civil engineering
- Good knowledge of industry best practice
- Good knowledge of different forms of contracts
- Possess strong leaderships skills
- Possess strong communication skills
- Gravitas to communicate at board level.
