Reporting Analyst

Reporting Analyst required to work within Financial Services for my client, a large and successful construction company currently searching for a Reporting Analyst within the Financial Services team that holds a strong working knowledge of SSRS, Power BI, Financial Report Writing, and more.

This is a really exciting opportunity for a Reporting Analyst and is a chance to really seize a fresh new position with both hands. The Reporting Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Establish and promote best practice for health, safety and environmental matters within SHQE department
  • Set and enforce business process for report requests and approval
  • Ensure reporting environment is set up for the management of reports with security applied for end users
  • Analyse business processes and information flows
  • Capture business, functional and non-functional report requirements
  • Conduct report design exercises
  • Review and refine reports for efficiency improvement
  • Document 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' states
  • Prioritise and agree requirements within programmes
  • Stakeholder management, host workshops (design/requirement), and interviews with users as required
  • Lead the creation, testing and delivery of reports
  • Complete relevant project documentation to align with governance
  • Analyse business requirements to create specifications, design, test and deliver reports
  • Document CSF's / develop KPI's
  • Advise on project risk
  • Work with service providers (internal/external) to ensure appropriate testing documentation is created
  • Manage relationships with all relevant stakeholders
  • Support and guidance on programme / IT project team members
  • Review projects and programme to assess the work undertaken and benefits obtained
  • Maintain / Drive appropriate governance on IT projects
  • Develop business analysis documentation / templates
