Nuclear Safety Engineer
Bristol or Warrington
Safety Engineer required for a highly successful consultancy that provides expert Safety Engineer skills to a range of clients in Nuclear New Build, Decommissioning, legacy plants and radioactive waste projects across the UK.
In this role you will be part of a large, diverse and well-established team of Safety Engineers of all levels that all share a high level of professionalism and proven technical understanding of the safety engineering discipline. Within this role you will also gain exposure to other industries such as Defence and Rail.
This Safety Engineer position offers you a great opportunity to be part of a highly capable, well educated dynamic and growing team of experts with potential for real career enhancement. You will be providing Nuclear Assurance support to Civil Nuclear New Build, Naval Nuclear, Power Generation, Defence Nuclear and nuclear decommissioning/waste clients across the UK.

The successful candidate will hold a good degree in a Science, Technology or Engineering discipline and will have a desire to deploy / develop their Safety Engineer skills to support nuclear power generation, the naval nuclear programme, defence nuclear sites or nuclear decommissioning and waste management.
The successful Safety Engineer will have a desire to take technical leadership and project management responsibility.
You will be encouraged and supported to manage both commercial and programme aspects of the projects that you are involved with. Commercial and project management skills are therefore desired attributes but are not essential as training will be provided where required.
The more senior level Safety Engineer roles will involve elements of supervision and coaching of other staff.

Security Clearance to SC level is required for these positions.
