Sales Executive

East Grinstead, West Sussex

Salary: up to £28,000-£32,000 + OTE

Currently looking for a Marketing Manager with experience in Conferences to work for a well-established, award-winning and independent Media Group, based in West Sussex.

Some of the knowledge, competencies, qualifications and skills of required of the Sales Executive will include:

  • Proven track record of digital media and exhibition sales in a B2B environment
  • Develop and manage high volume sales pipelines
  • Solutions-based/consultative sales approach - be able to articulate how our existing sales packages can meet client/prospect need(s)
  • Ability to write and present client proposals
  • Presentation and communication skills - written and verbal
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious, pro-active, resilient
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • An interest in developing market/product knowledge and organisational awareness
  • Rapport building - develop strong internal and external relationships
  • Good administration - competence in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM
  • Adaptability and flexibility

Performance objectives of the Sales Executive will include:

  • Achieve an effective call-rate of 20 calls minimum per day
  • Achieve an average of 3 new proposals/offers per day
  • Keep up-to-date administrative records
  • Generation of new business from targeted business categories/regions/campaigns
  • Achievement of the current 70% renewal rate for online supplier hub
  • Effectively manage incoming and outgoing calls with re-defined customer base adhering to KPIs
  • Development of sustainability market sectors and product knowledge to required standard
