Senior Account Manager

Fully remote


Senior Account Manager, on a fully remote basis, needed for a fast-growing digital agency based in Cheshire who are looking to employ someone who is creative and personable. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring they create an impact for clients and will be the primary point of contact for a number of large partnership clients.

The successful Senior Account Manager will be an organiser and planner focussed on shaping the client's digital marketing plans and activity, whilst identifying and supporting the delivery of the right solutions. You will be an exceptional communicator and have a solid understanding of what it means to deliver an excellent client service.


Some of the main duties of the Senior Account Manager will include:

  • Responsible for the success of the client relationship, the work we do and the positive impact we make.
  • Identify, understand, interrogate and validate the client's requirements and the opportunities they have to succeed with digital marketing.
  • Lead client discovery and insight sessions that inform the planning and work to be done.
  • Develop plans and campaigns, agreeing activities that drive success and considering all digital marketing channels such as inbound, social, SEM, paid media, CX, CRO and email marketing.
  • · Respond to any client issues or requirements as they are brought to your attention.
  • Coordinate and communicate with external suppliers and colleagues in order to ensure alignment and progress towards making an impact for the client.
  • Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that pieces of work are commercially successful.
  • Be constantly aware and in pursuit of opportunities for increased client success and account growth.
  • Communicate the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the team.
  • Work closely with the fulfilment team to ensure work remains on track for success.
  • Make judgement calls within an agile work environment in relation to the prioritisation and delivery of work, including the resources required.
  • Report on the commercial performance of client engagements and also measure and report on the positive impact we make to the client.

What experience you need to be the successful Senior Account Manager:

  • Proven experience working in a B2B environment
  • Degree educated in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5 years+ of previous experience in customer success and/or account management within an agency environment.
  • A strong understanding of digital and wider marketing tools and methodologies, particularly in relation to campaign work.
  • The ability to gain a deep understanding of the client's proposition and target audience to ensure all activity is aligned to creating a positive impact.
  • The ability to identify and develop opportunities that help the client achieve success.
  • A clear understanding of measuring marketing performance and ROI.
  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.
  • Experience in communicating marketing plans and performance to key stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
