Location: Crawley / West Sussex

I am recruiting for a Senior Development Lead & Scrum Master for a successful MSP in the Crawley area.

This role would be ideal for an Senior Development Lead & Scrum Master looking to mentor of team members.

My client is a fully managed service provider who provide, Manged IT, Communications and Print services to a range of clients across the UK.

This role will provide an exciting opportunity to work within a growing company with ambitious goals, with this role in particular providing growth and training opportunities within a fun and hardworking culture.

The succesful candidate would desirably have the relevent experience and a keen interest in Senior Development Lead & Scrum Master If you have managed service provider experince that would be a plus.

Some of the main duties of the Senior Development Lead & Scrum Master will include:

• Day to day mentoring of team members
• Develop yourself as a design authority
• Collaborate with front-end development team
• Liase with stakeholders and negotiate product features to be developed fro future releases.
• take full responsibility of agile software activities.
• Write supporting design and technical documentation
• Employee line managment and HR duties including recruiting. hiring, mentoring and appraising staff.
• undertake project work as requested and other duties as required.

What experience you need to be a succesful Senior Development Lead & Scrum Maste:

• 10 + years experience developing multi-threaded server-side applications using Oracle Java, including exceptional knowledge of generic programming.
• Good communication and documentation skills
• up-to-date general knowledge of current web and mobile technologies including internet security and application.
• Experience of various services with AWS e.g. EC2 servers, virtual private clouds, S3 storage and cloud monitoring.
• 5 + years' experience in running agile projects.
• Previous experience in managing and mentoring team members.

Desirable but not essential:

• Scrum master certification (CSM, PSM I)
• Degree (2.1 or above) in computer science or electronic engineeering.
• Experience of various service within Microsodt Azure
• Experience of the Atlassian Suite
• Expereince with developer tools such as Git
• Expereince with code deployment tools.
• Experience setting up an agile project.
