An exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimator has arisen with a leading main contractor at their smart offices in the City of London. The Senior Estimator will be an integral part of the Pre Construction & Work Winning Teams, gaining exposure to a variety of exciting projects whilst being rewarded with a very competitive starting salary, yearly pay & performance reviews and a very realistic opportunity for rapid progression within the business.

The Senior Estimator will be joining an experienced team and working on new build tenders valued between £20m to £200m across the residential, commercial, leisure, entertainment, mixed use, hotel and sports sectors. Some of the Senior Estimators duties will include:

• Working with colleagues in the bid team and reviewing all tender documents and submissions
• Implementing & managing the tender process of specialist sub-contract packages
• Oversee the issuing of Requests for Information
• Work closely with the Management team to put revise and implement improvements to their commercial strategy
• Support the development of junior estimators

• Starting salary of £75,000 to £90,000 (depending on experience)

Senior Estimators considering this opportunity will need to have:

• Considerable experience in single, 2 stage and negotiated tendering on major projects with build costs of >£20m
• A degree, HNC, HND or similar in a construction related field
• Excellent communication skills
• Recent experience working for a large main contractor with projects in the UK
