An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Estimator to join a leading main contractor delivering highways maintenance and small schemes across Lincolnshire. This would be a fantastic opportunity for an Estimator looking for a step up in their career within a forward thinking, well regarded business.
The Senior Estimator will be working closely with the Estimating Manager and other Estimators and taking responsibility for pricing tender opportunities across a £200m+ framework that covers more than 8,000km of roads, footpaths and carriageways across the region. Some of the Senior Estimators key duties will include:
- Lead the bid process to ensure the tender deliverables are produced in a timely and effective manner
- Take a lead role in the Estimating Team, allocating estimating resources within the bid teams
- Review all tender documents and submission requirements
- Undertake details analysis of the subcontractors analysis
- Ensure all cost planning and estimating are accurate and reflect the design briefs, project requirements and risk profiles
Senior Estimators considering this position will need to have previous experience as an Estimator, ideally within highways, utilities, civil engineering or another related field. You'll need excellent written and verbal communication skills and live within a reasonable commute of the office in Lincoln.
The successful Senior Estimator can expect a competitive salary & package that includes:
- Starting salary of £52,000 to £55,000
