Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor

£60,000 to £68,000 + car & package
I have an opportunity for a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join the busy, specialist building services business of one of the UK's top tier main contractors. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager and based on site at London City Airport, this is an exciting chance to work in a busy live environment with 5 years of secured work for a main contractor that continues to go from strength to strength.
As the Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working as part of a small team on the refurbishment of the terminal buildings and focused on both mechancial & electrical installations across the complex site. With the building services package valued at £70m, you'll be working on a variety of commercial duties including:
- Providing tender and procurement advice
- Contract management
- Subcontractor management
- Cost reporting
- Identifying & managing commercial risks
- Providing advice & support to colleagues including more junior surveyors

Senior M&E Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have at least 5 years experience working on either mechanical or electrical projects in the UK. You'll need to be familiar with working for a large specialist subcontractor or the M&E division of a large main contractor. You'll also need excellent communication skills.
