Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor with a background in either mechanical or electrical packages to join a leading main contractor in Leeds. The Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor will be based at their regional office and supporting projects across Yorkshire with complex mechanical and electrical installations. These projects will be within the education & healthcare sectors.
The Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor will quickly become an integral part of a small yet busy commercial team, working closely with various site teams and the operational management team. Some of your key duties will include:
- Producing cash flow forecasts
- Provide advice on suppliers and sub-contractors quotations
- Preparation of final account including agreement of the variation account
- Identify areas of risk and opportunity
- Maintain regular communication between suppliers, subcontractors, management and commercial teams
- Monitor project performance against project cost/value making recommendations
- Manage subcontractor accounts
Senior M&E Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to be driven. have a keen eye for detail and previous experience managing either mechanical or electrical installations as a Quantity Surveyor.
