Brief
Senior Network Strategy Manager needed to join a well-established highways organization and come on board to provide strategic direction to the company through the effective management of key activities. It will involve leading our client's strategic approach in relation to digital roads, specialist research and development of strategies by working internally and externally with the business. As a Senior Network Strategy Manager, you will keep up-to-date with the latest environmental and economical changes and how these might influence the long-term planning of the project.
It's important for the successful candidate to have demonstrable experience operating strategically at national and/or sub-national level in strategic development.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Senior Network Strategy Manager will include:
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams across the organization and untie both existing and newly commissioned evidence to provide national and sub-regional perspective with regards to the development of network strategy.
- Manage and establish relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Lead on key project initiatives and commission other parts of business to ensure studies, strategies and research projects are progressed.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders including supply chain, construction, and academia to keep informed of technology and infrastructure requirements.
What experience you need to be the successful Senior Network Strategy Manager:
- Knowledge of the role that infrastructure plays at all levels in facilitating strategic development.
- Able to work in a complex and customer facing environment to deliver successful outcomes.
- Experience of working successfully in a Programme or Project Management environment.
- Knowledge of factors supporting delivery, for example; planning, public/private funding.
- Experience in the strategic transport development.
- Experience in the development management sector.
