A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor on an exciting major long term framework. Based in Birmingham they will join an infrastructure specialist who are renowned for their expertise in delivering key infrastructure projects across the UK.
The Senior Planning Engineer will play a pivotal role in the team by leading the planning function on a multi-million pound framework over a 5 year period. They will be responsible for managing the construction programme in Primavera P6 for a large portfolio of civils schemes across the West Midlands region.
The Senior Planning Engineering will need to have previous experience of delivering civil engineering projects, preferably within a main contracting environment. They will need to have a good knowledge of developing NEC programmes and change management along with strong Primavera P6 skills.
Candidate
- Strong site based planning experience
- Demonstrate a track record of delivering civil engineering projects
- Proficient in the use of Primavera P6
- NEC contract experience
- First class communication skills
- Hold an engineering qualification - HNC/HND/Degree
On offer is a competitive basic salary of between £70-78,000 per annum plus an attractive salary that includes an annual car allowance of £7,000 or company car, pension, healthcare, life assurance, private medical, annual bonus and other great benefits.
