A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer to join a leading name in the construction in Birmingham. They will join a new team responsible for the delivery of multiple new build construction projects throughout the UK, a major £3bn framework over 5 years.
They will be responsible for supporting the project managers in the delivery of projects by providing high-level planning service for the preparation of project plans, producing baseline scheduled tasks, resource profiles and financial models. The successful person will be involved in improving the consistency, predictability and efficiency of the programmes project delivery capability.
The Senior Planning Engineer will have a background working on large scale new build projects for either a leading main contractor or a project management consultancy. They will hold a construction related qualification and have a solid understanding of construction process and techniques. Additionally they will be proficient in the use of Primavera P6 and possess very strong client facing skills.
