An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join a major name in the construction industry on a flagship project based in Qatar. They will join a leading main contractor who are renowned for their expertise in delivering complex construction projects.
The Senior Planning Engineer will be site based on a flagship scheme valued circa £500m and be accountable for overseeing the construction programme. They will play a key role in the projects successful delivery, managing a team of five Planners they will be responsible for working closely with the Project Director and ensuring the programme is communicated effectively to the site team and stakeholders.

They are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer who can demonstrate strong tender planning experience which has been gained with a leading main contractor in the UK. They must have a strong understanding of construction techniques and processes and possess first class communication skills.
- 10 years plus construction planning experience gained with UK main contractors
- Solid site based planning experience on major projects.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques and processes
- Possess good communication and presentation skills
- Hold a construction related qualification - Degree / HND
- Proficient in the use of planning software packages either Primavera P6 / Asta Powerproject
