Senior Project Manager

£60,000 to £80,000 + car & package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to join a leading main contractor at their offices in Northamptonshire. The Senior Project Manager will be working on a variety of projects across the Education, Commercial, Leisure & Healthcare sectors with build costs from £5m to £40m.
The Senior Project Manager will be working closely with the Operations Manager & Director, taking responsibility for safe and timely delivery of a project from start to finish. Some of your main duties will include:
- Supporting the estimating and bid teams through all stages of the tender, providing advice and guidance on construction methodology, programming and staffing
- Taking a lead role whilst going through construction, promoting a safe working environment and ethic
- Attending and hosting progress meetings with subcontractors, the client, stakeholders, consultants and others
- Manage the staffing levels through all stages of the programme
- Oversee the handover of the project including completion of a snagging list
The successful Senior Project Manager will need to have previous experience working for a main contractor in a SPM/PM capacity. You'll need a solid understanding of health & safety and construction processes alongside excellent communication skills an ability to solve problems and strong commercial acumen.
