Senior Quantity Surveyor
£60,000 + £6,000 car & package
I have an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a large main contractor at their smart offices in North London. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a growing part of the business and given the opportunity to take commercial responsibility on their own projects, lead & develop and small team and quickly progress their career within the business.
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working on a number of new builds & major refurbishments valued up to £35m. Some of their upcoming & secured projects include a new build 9 storey residential scheme, part new build/part refurbishment for a residential framework and new developments in Streatham, Wimbledon, Barking and High Wycombe. Your duties will include pre & post contract management, typically on projects procured under the JCT suite of contracts. You'll also be tasked with mentoring and developing a small team of surveyors (2-3) as they look to progress their own careers within the business.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be given a platform that includes realistic and rapid progression to MQS and beyond, support to get chartered through the APC, a professional working environment that includes on-site parking, the autonomy to run your own projects and a competitive salary & package that includes:
- Starting salary of up to £60,000
- Company car allowance of £6,000
- 25 days annual leave
- Pension contributions
- Private healthcare
- Death in service
- Childcare vouchers
- Cycle to work scheme
- & more
Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity must live within a reasonable commute of central London and have experience of working for a leading main contractor. You'll also need to be familiar with the JCT suite of contracts and have excellent communication skills.
This opportunity would be well suited to a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor lacking the opportunity to progress their careers in their current role.
