Senior Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with highways, utilities or telecoms experience to join a leading main contractor at their offices in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience on a fast paced framework where you'll be tasked with developing your own commercial team of 5 whilst working closely with the wider project team of around 25.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be working on secured framework that runs for a further 2 1/2 years and includes the roll out of a major telecommunication network across the region. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be responsible for the day to day development of your team and the management of the contract. The work is fast paced with a delivery model that is 80% based on subcontractors undertaking the work and as such, a majority of your role will include all elements associated with subcontract management.
Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have:
- At least 5 years main contracting experience
- Experience within telecommunications, utilities or highways maintenance work
- Good attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
