A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with civil engineering experience to join a leading main contractor on a major project in Leeds. The role promises exposure to a complex yet exciting project, rapid career progression with no limits on where you can go within the business and the security of working for a business that has an increasing pipeline of work across the region.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be site based and working on a long term, high value civil engineering scheme that includes the construction of new roads, bridges and all the associated infrastructure. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Analysing rates and prices from suppliers & subcontractors
- Cost reporting
- Preparing, submitting and negotiating on claims where required
- Preparation of internal reports with commercial progress
- Contract administration
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be offered a competitive salary & package that includes:
- Starting salary of £50,000 to £60,000
- Car allowance of £5,000
- 25 days annual leave

Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this position will need to have:
- A degree or similar in Quantity Surveying
- NEC knowledge
- Experience working on a large civil engineering or infrastructure project
- Excellent communication skills
