Senior Quantity Surveyor
Central London
£80,000 to £95,000 + package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead of a £60m new build project in London for a leading main contractor.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the day to day development of a team of 3 whilst working closely with the project team and ensuring the sound commercial delivery of the two year project. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Leading on the procurement of subcontract packages
- Preparing CVRs for presentation to the commercial leadership team
- Final account negotiation
- Providing commercial and contractual advice to the project team
- Representing the contractor whilst communicating with the client
- Acting as a mentor to junior surveyors within the team
- Supporting the commercial management team both with this project and securing future work
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be given the opportunity to further their experience of leading and delivering large construction projects whilst working for an award winning, highly regarded main contractor. You'll also be offered a competitive salary & package that includes:

Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity must have experience that includes:
- At least 2 years working in a Commercial Lead capacity for a large main contractor
- Previous large project experience (e.g. >£30m)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong contract knowledge
- Living within a reasonable commute of Central London
