I have an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK's leading, privately owned main contractors at their offices in the North West. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with the Commercial Manager, delivering a variety projects spanning the full length of the country for clients including National Grid and a number of Gas Suppliers.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be tasked with leading and developing a small team of surveyors on projects from start to finish. Working with the NEC contract, some of your main duties will include:

• Contract administration (NEC)
• Sub-contract management
• Change control
• Cost reporting
• Assisting with the preparation of CVR's
• Procurement
• Final account negotiation

Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this opportunity will need to have at least 4 years experience in the commercial management of civil engineering, infrastructure or utilities projects across the UK. You'll also need to be competent with the NEC suite of contracts and happy to commute between projects across the UK (all expenses covered).
