£60,000 to £85,000 + package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with solid building experience to join a leading, top tier main contractor in Central London. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining this growing part of the business, working on a variety of public sector projects with build costs ranging in value from £5m to £30m.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be managing the development of a small commercial team, controlling project costs and design through pre construction and then taking responsibility for the project costs once on site. Some of your key duties will include:
- Taking full project financial control,
- Managing suppliers and subcontractors
- Oversee the procurement of new suppliers & subcontractors
- Prepare monthly CVR's
- Manage the projects cash flow
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities
- Act as a mentor to junior surveyors and offer commercial support and guidance to your immediate team and the wider project team
