Senior Quantity Surveyor

£50,000 to £56,000 + car & package
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the growing commercial team of a leading main contractor at their offices in Berkshire. You will be joining a well regarded business that focuses on infrastructure projects and frameworks across the highways, water, power and rail sectors.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be based at an office near to Slough and working on a fast paced, high volume/low value contract with a key client covering Berkshire and the surrounding area. You will be tasked with leading and developing a small team delivering a variety of projects with values ranging from a few hundred £ up to schemes with values of c.£2m.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will need to be commercially astute and confident when working closely with site teams, the client, subcontractors and suppliers. You'll need strong subcontract management skills, excellent communication skills and have a natural flair for developing others. Previous experience working for a main contractor or specialist subcontractor within the highways, utilities or similar sectors is also important.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be given the opportunity to gain experience with a busy, forward thinking team working on a secured contract for a major client. You'll be given ongoing training and development within an environment that has no glass ceilings or limits on career progression. This is all backed with a competitive salary & package that includes:
