Senior Quantity Surveyor

£55,000 to £60,000 + car & package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor on a large infrastructure project in Plymouth. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining a site based team, delivering a 2 year, £60m project on the outskirts of Plymouth.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be running a number of large subcontractor packages, taking them from procurement through to final account negotiation. You'll be responsible for cost reporting, preparing CVR's, measuring work, contract negotiations and administration and assisting with the mentoring of the junior surveyors on the team.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will need to have previous experience using the NEC contract and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You'll need to be commercially astute, self motivated and have previous experience working on a large infrastructure project for a main contractor.
