A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a busy and growing multidiscipline construction & property consultancy at their smart offices in the centre of Leeds
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining an established business that has a solid track record for delivering large, complex projects across a wide array of sectors including Residential, Student Accommodation, Healthcare, Leisure, Commercial, Research & Development, Arts, Culture and Heritage. As a key member of the commercial team, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be involved with a number of projects, often leading and developing a small team of surveyors and working closely with the client. Some of your other duties will include:
- Taking a lead role in client facing meetings and managing multi-disciplined teams
- Advising your team, colleagues and the wider project team with cost and contractual related queries
- Preparing tender documents
- Producing cost estimates and cost plans
- Ensuring the project remains on budget from design to completion
- Assist with winning new work and repeat business
- Manage large scale projects with key clients
- Manage the costs of projects during the construction stage and negotiate final accounts

Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this position will need to have previous experience working for a cost consultancy and live within a reasonable commute of the Leeds City Centre. Quantity Surveyors within experience of high value and complex projects will be at an advantage, as will those that are already Chartered with the RICS.
