A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with civil engineering experience to join a leading main contractor on a major project in Leeds. The role promises exposure to a complex yet exciting project, rapid career progression with no limits on where you can go within the business and the security of working for a business that has an increasing pipeline of work across the region.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be site based and working on an £80m civil engineering scheme that includes the construction of new roads, bridges and all the associated infrastructure. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Analysing rates and prices from suppliers & subcontractors
- Cost reporting
- Preparing, submitting and negotiating on claims where required
- Preparation of internal reports with commercial progress
- Contract administration
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be offered a competitive salary & package that includes:
- Starting salary of £50,000 to £60,000
- Car allowance of £5,000
- 25 days annual leave

Senior Quantity Surveyors considering this position will need to have:
- A degree or similar in Quantity Surveying
- NEC knowledge
- Experience working on a large civil engineering or infrastructure project
