An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering an ongoing programme of new build construction projects to a large client in Berkshire.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining an experienced team and taking responsibility for ensuring the sound financial and contractual delivery of projects valued up to £30m. This will include high specification offices, specialist laboratories for research and development, storage units, warehouses and monitoring facilities. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the procurement process
• Supporting other surveyors with subcontract management
• Cost reporting
• Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risks
• Assess and resolve any commercial claims or disputes
• Support the wider commercial team with develop, acting as a mentor where required
