Senior Systems Engineer needed for a multinational defense organisation based in Preston who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Senior Systems Engineer that takes pride in their work with knowledge of the system/software engineering lifestyle, ideally within an agile environment.
If you have knowledge of F-35 Global Support System that would be a bonus and we would love to hear from you!
The successful candidate would desirably have an understanding of basic systems engineering and experience in managing their workload according to the needs of the contracted schedule. Due to the nature of this company the role will be subject to both security and export control restrictions.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Senior Systems Engineer will include:
- Analysing a number of specific Use Cases, developing User Stories and initial System Design
- Attending and providing input to customer review meetings
- Working within an Agile Development environment, as part of a small team, to provide detailed System Design and preliminary Software Design.
- Developing a systems engineering plan to provide essential Structures PHM capability within a Global Sustainment toolset.
