Service Delivery Manager required by a successful company based in East Grinstead who are looking for a Service Delivery Manager with in depth knowledge of ERP functionality, design and deployment methodologies, ITIL, Man Management, Relationship Management, Technical knowledge and more.

The successful Service Delivery Manager will receive:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join a highly successful organisation in East Grinstead. The successful Service Delivery Manager will support the Head of IS to clarify and implement the organisations strategies. You will be expected to manage the technical support of the organisation to ensure business continuity and maintain a strategy is in place to moderate risks. You will work closely with 3rd party support suppliers working to agreed SLA's and managing the integrity and security of the systems.

The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for:

  • Regular communication to inform senior staff of upcoming developments
  • Represent the Production side of the business whilst maintaining a high level of communication with senior team members
  • Management of the Service Desk team, Production team and Client Service delivery team
  • Work closely with Test team to ensure projects/features are not deployed prematurely
  • Effectively communicate requirements of the Business and Team to all involved
  • Ensure nothing goes to production before all potential problems have been investigated and resolved

The successful Service Delivery Manager will have experience / skill covering:

  • 5 to 10 years' experience working within IT in a range of managerial positions
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP functionality (preferably SAP but any large ERP Vendor experience will be beneficial)
  • Design and deployment methodologies (Prince2)
  • Excellent knowledge of ITIL - Service Desk Software
  • High level of Man management skills, must have senior management experience across a broad range of teams e.g. Service Desk, Production
  • Managing 3rd party delivery within the agreed SLA's
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance team to ensure quality of Production
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Contribute to the creation of IT strategies in order to support business needs
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

The successful Service Delivery Manager will have vast experience of working and managing 3rd party suppliers, managing multiple or large teams, and generally communicating effectively and honestly with the business. We are ideally looking for someone with a previous technical knowledge that has since moved into a range of Management positions.
