Service Desk Analyst needed for an award winning organisation organisation based in Sutton, Surrey, who are looking to employ an experienced Service Desk Analyst to support a variety of office-based & remote users-based desktop technology; including thin clients, desktop PCs, laptops (both Microsoft Windows & MacOS) & mobile devices, Office 365.

Service Desk Analyst Salary & benefits include:

* Salary: c£25,000 - £27,000 per annum

Some of the main duties of the Service Desk Analyst will include:

* Administer the day-to-day activity of the Service Desk, responsible for supporting a wide variety of customer facing, mission critical services
* Manage and coordinate urgent & complicated support tickets
* Support a variety of office-based & remote users-based desktop technology; including thin clients, desktop PCs, laptops (both Microsoft Windows & MacOS) & mobile devices
* Determine root cause of technical and process problems and communicate appropriately to internal & external customers
* Administer & optimise Microsoft Office 365 instance
* Administer & optimise hosted telephony infrastructure
* Administer & manage deployment of new hot fixes, system updates, and vendor-supplied patches according to best practices
* Build & maintain relationships with key 3rd party technology service providers/partners

In order to be the successful Service Desk Analyst and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:

* IT / technically qualified
* A proven self-starter able to deliver technical solutions without supervision
* Hosted desktop platforms (Microsoft RDS, Citrix)
* Microsoft Office 365; system admin level administration
* Microsoft Office 365; business application support (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
* Hardware break/fix (thin clients, desktop PCs, laptops, Mac)
* Printers
* Service / help desk ticketing systems
* ITIL service management framework aware
* Excellent interpersonal & organisational skills
