Service Desk Engineer - Plymouth
£18,000 - £25,000
If you have experience working within an IT Service desk, this role would be ideal for you. Currently recruiting Service Desk Engineers to join a growing IT team where you will be providing first line technical support, dealing with helpdesk tickets and troubleshooting issues. You will also assist with the roll out of new hardware and software, provide end user IT training and other tasks to help ensure the firm's IT systems run smoothly.
The type of person this role is suitable for:
Knowledgeable about IT including good communication skills and enthusiasm to explain certain technical issues
Someone who can work as part of a team but also the ability to take challenges independently.
You will need to be able to prioritise your tasks and work efficiently and with accuracy at all times as the service desk can be fast paced for a 1st line Engineer.
Technical experience required:
- Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
- Microsoft Windows 10
- Microsoft Office 365
- Windows Server 2012/2016/2019
- Microsoft Exchange Online
- Microsoft Skype for Business/Teams
This role will offer the chance for a Service Desk Engineer to deal with multiple customers, learning new technology every day.
