Shift patten - 2 days on (7am-7pm) then 2 nights on (7pm-7am) then 4 days off
Brief
Shift Mechanical Craftsperson needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Birmingham who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Shift Mechanical Craftsperson that takes pride in their work
The successful candidate must hold their City & Guilds (or equivalent) Mechanical qualification and have a keen interest in mechanical engineering.
In terms of equipment you will be working on it will be anything from - AHU, FCU, Boilers, Calorifiers and plantroom equipment

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Shift Mechanical Craftsperson will include:
- Responsible for the delivery of mechanical engineering maintenance service in line with contractual obligations, industry best practice and relevant standards and guidance (HTM)
- ensure planned preventive maintenance, testing, breakdown/reactive maintenance activities on the estate are completed and records maintained
- Manage individually assigned work effectively to ensure site performance via use of CAFM systems and other digital based management tools is accurate when reviewed by management
- Achieve and maintain AP/CP appointments in disciplines as requested by estates management team to support the contract where required and appropriate
- Maintain AHU, FCU, Boilers, Calorifiers and plantroom equipment
What experience you need to be the successful Shift Mechanical Craftsperson:
- City & Guilds (or equivalent) Mechanical qualifications
- Understanding of AHU, FCU, Boilers, Calorifiers and plantroom equipment
- Indentured apprenticeship or equivalent training
- Healthcare and or Healthcare PFI experience (Desirable)
- Driving licence
