Site Manager

Site Manager needed for a leading construction firm based in Uxbridge who are looking to employ an experienced Site Manager to ensure compliant workmanship against Health, Safety and Environmental regulations. Be able to demonstrate a continuous understanding of any and all aspects of the client's activities.

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Site Manager will include:
* Develop an extensive professional network and liaise closely with clients and the project team, as well as any potentially interested parties
* Deal with variations and valuations
* Manage the health, safety, quality and environmental issues
* Manage any HR and Health and Safety issues as and when they arise
* Identify gaps in staff training and make suitable recommendations
* Handle customer care concerns
* Maintain the client's high quality of work
* Control overtime pay, petty cash and wages
* Manage client relationships pre and post completion
* Monitor performance of the project against contract
* Lead in the assistance of the business to perform well against the vision Six S, delivering against the individual elements "Skilled, Secure, Successful, Sustainable, Strong and Systems"
* Implement new systems as and when required to meet the dynamic needs of the target market

What you need to be the successful Site Manager:
In order to be the successful Site Manager and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have the following:
* A keen understanding of the construction sector
* An astute commercial awareness
* Work well under pressure in a demanding environment
* Excellent written and verbal communications
* A high degree of computer literacy
* Be able to motivate the team
* Be able to work both independently and as a part of a team
* Hold experience in supervision of construction contracts
* Excellent negotiation skills
* A keen analytical approach to problem solving
* Hold relevant professional or vocational qualifications
