Street Lighting Electrician needed for a leading civil engineering and construction organisation who are working in the Chelsea area. As Street Lighting Electrician, you will demonstrate excellent operational skills such as working at heights in a challenging environment. Your role will entail understanding and repairing electrical systems in a safe and efficient manner.

The successful Street Lighting Electrician will have previous experience of working in the street lighting industry, ideally you will have the ability to coordinate street lighting operations and you may hold a Class 2 HGV license.

Some of the main duties of the Street Lighting Electrician will include:

• Working within a small team working on electrical street lighting installations.
• Working within Health and Safety plans, method statements and risk assessments.
• Interpreting scaled drawings of basic electrical installations and detailed drawings of underground cabling.
• Ensuring that all site works are executed in a time and cost-efficient manner whilst ensuring regular liaison with supervisor.
• Maintaining plant, vehicle and materials record sheets to support the works programme as well as ensuring all plant is fit for purpose and maintained to required standards.

What experience you need to be the successful Street Lighting Electrician:

• Be able to drive and possess a full UK driving license.
• 714 test and inspect qualification
• G39 certification
• HEA approved
• ECS
• IPAF qualified
• NRSWA Units 1 to 9
• Abrasive wheels
• Test and inspect
• City & Guild 2382 level 3, 17th Edition Amendments 3
