An experienced Supply Chain Manager is required to play a key role in the operational procurement & Supply Chain (SM-OP&SC) responsible for the professional management of the Operational Procurement function (Rotables / Consumables), ensuring compliance with all applicable Aviation / Trade Control Regulatory Requirements and International Standards.

The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Supply Chain Manager?

• Ensuring that the Operational Procurement - Rotables/Consumables (OP-R / OP-C) function always complies with all applicable Aviation Regulations, Trade Controls and Ethical Standards.
• Ensuring that the OP-R / OP-C function only performs activities within the boundaries of the privileges/scope of the Company Approvals and Certifications held, and as identified in the respective Company Expositions, Manuals and Procedures.
• Ensuring that the OP-R / OP-C function ensures the effective and efficient (Cost, Quality, Compliant & On-time) procurement of aircraft parts and pieces
• Ensure that the OP-R / OP-C function maintains sufficient competent staff to plan, perform, supervise, deliver and quality monitor the scope of the activities performed.
• Ensuring that the OP-R / OP-C function have available, and use, the necessary equipment, software, and relevant resources to deliver the scope of work.

What are we looking for in our next Supply Chain Manager?

• Have expert knowledge of Procurement & Supply Chain Management principles
• Educated to degree level in a STEM discipline
• Hold an MCIPS or equivalent accreditation
• Have experience of supporting or leading negotiations with an understanding of contractual / commercial principles
• Have demonstrable experience of developing key supplier relationships and engagement strategies
• Six-Sigma or Lean Practitioner
• Theoretical and practical application-level knowledge of Trade Control Regulations and Ethical Standards
• Theoretical and practical application-level knowledge of UK CAA, EASA and/or Military Aviation Regulations
• Practical application-level knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 advantageous
