Principal Property Surveyor

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (based on experience)


Principal Property Surveyor required for a national organisation based in Lancashire who are looking to employ an experienced/ chartered Property Surveyor with at least 3 years knowledge of the property industry.

Some of the main duties of the Principal Property Surveyor include:

  • Maximise the performance of the clients central operational and non-operational portfolios
  • Negotiating with private and public-sector owners and developers
  • Monitoring and leading land and property removals
  • Looking over client's commercial valuation processes
  • Setting goals, aims and managing team performances and reporting crucial performance indicators
  • Be present at meetings with developers, external funding partnerships, committees and clients
  • Confirming wellbeing, health and safety of employees and the public by complying with policies
  • Contributing to the establishment of a new asset management database

Principal Property Surveyor key skills and experience:

In order to be the successful Principal Property Surveyor and have an opportunity for working for this great client you'll need the following:

  • Member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) previously or currently, with no less than 3 years' experience post qualification experience
  • Significant knowledge/experience of working in a public sector of property services or an associated environment
  • Experience with high level discussions with public sector agencies and private sector developers
  • Knowledge of tenant and landlord problems
  • Experience of multi-disciplinary partnership working on high value schemes
  • Good client management and networking skills
  • Knowledge of property marketing
  • Experience of undertaking wide ranging disposals and valuations
  • Computer literate with an understanding of GIS databases
  • Must possess a full driving licence
