Financial Systems Analyst

Financial Systems Analyst required by my client, a highly successful construction organisation who are currently seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to cover Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, XA 365, AX 2012, and more Financial Systems meaning a knowledge of other Financial Systems would be very helpful. a background in Accountancy would also be desirable.

The Financial Systems Analyst will hold a number of responsibilities, mainly covering Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009/2012/365 but will cover a range of other areas such as:

  • Promote best practice for health, safety and environmental matters under the SHQE department
  • Analyse business processes / information flows in line with business
  • Capture business/functional/non-functional requirements
  • Process mapping exercises
  • Review / Refine processes to improve deficiencies
  • Document 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' states
  • Work within programme / projects to prioritise and agree requirements
  • Stakeholder management and host workshops (design/requirement)
  • Lead creation of business cases
  • Complete relevant project documentation (ensuring it aligns with governance and PMO structure)
  • Analyse business requirements to create user cases, and specifications
  • Model business benefits / risks to establish solutions to deliver appropriate outcomes
  • Document CSF's / develop KPI's to demonstrate newly implemented processes/systems are delivering the required outcomes
  • Advise on / manage project risk
  • Work with 3rd Party Providers (internal/external) to ensure appropriate testing is created (and ensure solution delivery is in line with requirements)
  • Build relationships with stakeholders including
  • Attend project / programme meetings
  • Support / Guidance to other programme and IT project team members
  • Review projects / programme to assess work undertaken
  • Maintain governance on IT projects
  • Develop business analysis documentation (and templates)
  • Analysis / Documentation standards to improve efficiency
  • Manage ongoing requirements
