Brief
A Systems Engineer needed for a leading multinational defence organisation based in the Havant area who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Systems Engineer that takes pride in their work.
The successful Systems Engineer would desirably be educated to degree level, or equivalent professional/vocational qualification.
What the role of the Systems Engineer entails:
Some of the main duties of the Systems Engineer will include:
- Managing, implementing and improving requirements management processes inside DOOR's.
- Assist in creating, updating and maintain the requirements management plan.
- Development and implementation of additional features in the current requirements management setup, including coding in DXL.
- Review and management of change requests from a requirements perspective.
- Advice and guidance to the wider engineering team on requirements processes.
- Providing guidance and advice to DOOR's Administrative staff.
- Striking baselines tied to system releases to allow traceability.
- Deputise for the requirements manager as required.
What experience you need to be the successful Systems Engineer:
· Experience managing, administrating and controlling a DOOR's Database or similar requirements management tool. · Experience writing scripts in DXL or similar coding language experience. · Writing, Developing and implementing Requirement Management Plans. · Aerospace industry experience or similar highly regulated industry experience. |
· Attention to Detail to ensure that errors and other requirements issues are found and highlighted. · Able to work well with engineers and staff across the whole team and wider business · Ability to manage multiple competing demands and ensure business priorities are met. |
