Systems Engineer needed for a leading global security and aerospace organisation based in Hampshire who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Systems Engineer that takes pride in their work with an in-depth knowledge of Systems Engineering tools processes and practices. What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Systems Engineer will include:

• Solid understanding of Systems Engineering tools processes and practices. (TOGAF, UML/SysML, DOORS)
• Understanding of requirements definition and interface documentation required to support the development and acceptance of solutions.
• Understanding Test and Qualification procedures and practices, especially with regard to requirement sell off
• Strong communication skills, and the ability to write in a clear and concise manner
• Positive attitude, and willingness to get involved with tasks across the System Engineering lifecycle
• The ability to manage tasks and priorities to ensure that assigned workload is delivered when required.
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences on sometimes complex

What desirable experience you need to be the successful Systems Engineer:

• Experience of working in a highly regulated industry
• Degree in Engineering or other STEM subjects
• Experience of the Airborne Systems with experience of Merlin Mk2 platform
• Ability to analyse technical problems and provide pragmatic solutions
• Proven ability to produce cost effective and technically compliant solutions
• Practical experience of Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)
