Systems Engineer

Location: West Sussex Salary: £55000 - £65000 per annum + 10% bonus

Systems Engineer

Position summary:

Required to work within the product development Team. You will contribute to the specification, design, development, and validation of solutions for the programme and be responsible for the delivery of a robust System Design. Install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability. Implement warranty and support activities. This role will cover the full life cycle of product development in general accordance with the ISO15288 (Systems and software engineering - System lifecycle processes) standard.

Relevant Knowledge and Skill requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering. other bachelor's degree with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Experience of Engineering for manufacture and assembly
  • Experience in the development of Medical devices and medical device usability development needs
  • Effective knowledge of the regulatory environment in which the business operates
  • An analytical approach to problem solving
  • Be a passionate advocate of quality as a discipline and continuous improvement
  • Ability to connect effectively in person and remotely through verbal and written presentations
  • Availability to travel domestically and internationally when necessar
  • Key responsibilities:
  • To design and develop new and existing technological solutions. During the engineering design process, the responsibilities of the engineer may include defining problems, conducting and narrowing research, analyzing criteria, finding and analyzing solutions, and making decisions. Test systems are working correctly, identifying, investigating and repairing any system faults. discussing and evaluating systems failures with the engineering team. Experience in designing, developing, debugging and testing complex systems. With particular emphasis on, real-time control and integration with complex electromechanical systems.
