Systems Engineer - Beam Generation
Description:
My client is looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to be involved in the development and improvement of Beam Generation solutions. For this role, we are looking for a candidate with experience and an interest in Beam Generation or RF Generation who is looking to further develop and apply existing knowledge.
As the Beam Generation System Engineer you will have the opportunity to work in our UK based multi-disciplinary Hardware Systems Engineering team and work side by side with our Principal Beam Generation System Engineer on the definition, performance, interfaces, compliance and risk analysis of the Beam Generation through the entire product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
Responsibilities:
- As the Beam Generation System Engineer you will be responsible, together with the Principal Beam Generation System Engineer, for the Beam Generation subsystem(s) used within our Linac solutions from a Risk Analysis, Technical Requirements management and overarching lifecycle activities.
- As the Beam Generation System Engineer you will collaborate with product managers, solutions system engineers and domain system engineers to develop product and technical roadmaps featuring the Beam Generation domain.
- You will also be a key interface between our Global Service and Engineering teams to support in the resolution of Beam Generation defects.
- You will work closely and embedded in a scrum engineering team to aid in the definition, development, verification/validation and release of Beam Generation technical solutions. As the Beam Generation System Engineer you may also be responsible for engineering deliverables within your core skill domain, e.g., RF generation.
- Further to this, you will work with system integration colleagues to develop and realise integration plans.
Required experience and skills:
We are looking for applicants with experience in RF Generation and (ideally) practical RF experience. The preferred technical/scientific disciplines are:
- High Power Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- RF Engineering
- RF Physics
- Other applicable technical/scientific disciplines.
