What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Systems Integration & Test Engineer will include:

• Translate system requirements into appropriate Test specifications
• Ensuring that Test activities are carried out in accordance with programme & internal standards
• Investigation and analysis of complex system level faults
• Collaborating with test leadership to design and use appropriate progress metrics
• Manage your time effectively to develop effective Test solutions to deliver to cost and quality targets
• Any additional Programme related tasks assigned that are within area of expertise, competence and skill set.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients across all levels of the organisation both internally and with the customer

What experience you need to be the successful Systems Integration & Test Engineer:

• Solid understanding of the test process life cycle and toolsets (e.g. DOORS, Jira and automated test tools e.g. Selenium or similar)
• Strong communication skills, and the ability to write in a clear and concise manner to deliver documents such test plans, test procedures
• Positive attitude, and willingness to get involved with tasks across the Test Engineering lifecycle
• The ability to manage tasks and priorities to ensure that assigned workload is delivered when required.
• Ability to interact and negotiate with teams providing support to Test Engineering.
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences on sometimes complex concepts
