Brief

Technical Administrator needed for a multinational Defence & Aerospace organisation based in Hampshire who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Technical Administrator that takes pride in their work with previous experience of managing documentary evidence linking to the requirements in support to aircraft accreditation and previous experience providing technical support to multiple engineering departments.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Technical Administrator will include:

• Work with team members and liaise with other departments to meet programme needs and contractual deadlines by providing technical administration support to the team.
• This post involves inter departmental interaction and will involve travel to applicable programme locations.
• Expected to be the responsible owner of documentary evidence linking to requirements to support aircraft accreditation.
• Able to work diligently on this and provide regular updates to the business.
• Handle tasks as assigned by and on behalf of the Business Application Support Team Lead.

What experience you need to be the successful Technical Administrator:

Provide technical database management support to the Engineering Management staff:

• Manage the documentary evidence linking to requirements in support of aircraft accreditation
• Generate, maintain and update metrics on outstanding requirements without evidence linked
• Provide support to the Certification & Qualification Team Lead and wider Team.
• Support the wider Business Application Support Team Lead and wider Team
• Provide DOORS® & JIRA® support to adjacent programmes/business areas

Requirements Management (DOORS®) training will be provided.
