Senior Technical Services Coordinator opportunity working for one of the most successful construction companies in London. The person my client needs must have a strong background in M&E and understand how to manage and coordinate external design consultants. Whilst you wont actually be doing any design work yourself you will be responsible for reviewing: Energy strategies, M&E concept designs, utilities strategy, contractor submissions, installation drawings. So, having spent some time working for a consultant is essential.
The projects you will be working on will range in value from £40m - £180m all in and around the London area. These sites will mainly be new build mid to high rise residential buildings with some retail, commercial and education space as well.
My client is widely recognised as one of the best companies to work for in the sector and have the lowest rate of staff turnover which is something they are very proud of. They encourage and nurture a professional and friendly working environment for all disciplines in the office and on site. They operate very much as a meritocracy and want people to develop and progress. They are always open to new ideas and in fact have regular "Innovation" meetings across the disciplines. They have been extremely successful over the past 15 years but will not rest on their laurels. The board are keen for the company to evolve and improve and will not allow the business just to stand still.
What they need:
Someone who has worked in building services design, mechanical or electrical.
Technical Services Coordinator who will be able to build strong working relationships with external consultants.
Someone who can act as the conduit between the design and installation teams.
Technical Services Coordinator who enjoys solving problems and can work well in a team.
Someone who has an M&E related degree or HNC
Technical Services Coordinator who wants to work for a company where you can add value.
Please note that my client will not consider freelancers and will expect to see a stable career path outlined in the CV of all applicants. You must also be able to provide technical references from previous employers.
