Technical Support Assistant needed for a highly reputable defence and aerospace organisation based in Warminster. My clients are looking to employ a Technical Support Assistant with experience of diagnosing, isolating and analyzing problems and using initiative.

The key responsibilities of the Technical Support Assistant:

For this role in particular the Technical Support Assistant will:

• Using the organisations call handling system to respond to Helpdesk calls
• Timely resolution to customer enquiries
• Strive to meet all service level agreements (SLA)
• Producing and reporting to customer
• Using the JAHD mailbox, respond to JPOC emails and provide a daily update list
• Create and update the monthly Service Incident (SI) tracker for customer

The required skills of the Technical Support Assistant:

Specifically, the Technical Support Assistant will need:

• Diagnose, identify, isolate and analyse problems
• Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Be an ambitious person with willingness to learn from colleagues
• Be a good relationship builder and able to use own initiative
• Have good communication skills

Key desired skills of the Technical Support Assistant:

• Remedy or equivalent incident management software
• Previous telephone helpdesk experience
• Experience of working with Military and MoD personnel

Please note that for this specific role the chosen candidate must be eligible for SC clearance.
